"I am proud to sign this bill, which positions New York's farmers to be the first to grow cannabis and jumpstart the safe, equitable and inclusive new industry we are building: Gov. Hochul said.
The signing of this bill, farmers can now put seeds in the ground to meet, what will be a growing demand. What farmers have to understand, this is a conditional cannabis cultivation license for up to 2 years. It allows them to manufacture and distribute cannabis flower products without holding an adult-use processor or distributor license. Cultivators are then limited to one acre of flowering cannabis outdoors or 25,000 square feet in a greenhouse. They can also split between outdoors and greenhouse growing with a maximum total of 30,000 square feet, if the greenhouse operation is under 20,000 of that total. Cannabis will become the new burgeon industry in New York State and insurance companies are starting to realize this too.

When the client called for an update on her return, it was discovered that the email did, in fact, go to the wrong address. The client then sued and the accountants CYBER LIABILITY paid for the costs to defend the lawsuit and paid the damages too. Tips for Easily Updating Your Home for Work and Play

No it will not. Auto insurance in New York follows the car not the person. So if you get into an accident with their car, it is their auto insurance that would respond to the damages. The accident, if a police report was done, would show up on the driver's motor vehicle record though. Same with a ticket, like speeding. That too would follow the drivers motor vehicle report, not the neighbors.
So don't assume that because you have auto insurance it follows your borrowed car. That only happens in a rental car because it is considered a "temporary substitute" vehicle. Usually rented for 5-6 or 7 days at a time and not a "I need to get to my doctors appointment" situation. That is totally different than borrowing your neighbors car. Just don't confuse the two situations. Rental car, if you have comp & collision on your policy, would be a claim on your own insurance if you caused an accident. Your neighbors car would be on their car insurance policy. Service line coverage, also called underground utility coverage, is for the lines running from your house to the street connection. It is for any service underground that becomes rotted, decayed, breaks and is good for coverage up to $10,000! This applies to a home or a landlord who has a 1 to 4 family property. Why 1-4 family properties? Because those are considered a "personal lines" policy much like your homeowners insurance is a personal lines insurance policy.
So far, no insurance company has come out with this insurance policy endorsement for commercial property. I don't think it will either because those properties tend to have bigger service lines coming into the building. For example, a home's sewer line might be 2" in diameter but a commercial building could be 4" or greater. In addition, most insurance companies use a 3rd party - like Hartford Steam Boiler - to underwrite this coverage for them. So instead of the insurance company having these claims on their books, the 3rd party has the claims. Do you have service line coverage on your home? Saturday, there was sustained winds, with some gusts topping off at 65 mph! So what do you get with 65 MPH wind - downed trees and branches! So if this was your neighbors tree that fell on YOUR garage, shed, pool or fences, it really is your claim on your insurance not your neighbors insurance! Your neighbor wasn't negligent or at fault here - the wind did the damage, or an act-of-God! Thus, through nobody's fault, your property was damaged and you now have an insurance claim.
Sorry to report this but that is how it works. Doesn't matter who owns the tree, it fell due to no one's fault! Do a Google search Independent Insurance Broker YOUR TOWN and we have tools that will determine REPLACEMENT cost of your home, which is what you should insure it for. Do NOT insure it for market value or sales price which is totally different than replacement cost.
How to Start a Business With Limited Space
Starting a business with limited space is not as difficult as you may think. In fact, it can be easier and less expensive than starting a business in an office building or storefront location. A home-based company has the flexibility to work from any room of the house that suits their needs at any given time. This means they do not have to rent an entire office just for one person's desk, nor do they have to worry about paying high utility bills each month. In addition, these entrepreneurs get more privacy and freedom while also being able to spend more quality time with family members who live in the same house or apartment too! Read on to learn more about the different aspects of a home-based business. How to establish a home-based business It is quite simple to establish a home-based business, especially if you already live in a place that suits your needs. The first step would be to choose your business structure. The most common for new business owners is an LLC. There are many benefits to forming an LLC if you're running a business including limited liability, tax advantages, less paperwork, flexibility, and more. You can avoid hefty lawyer fees by filing yourself or by using a formation service. States have different regulations around forming an LLC, so check the rules in New York before moving ahead. The next step would be to choose your workspace. This is important for tax reasons since you'll be able to take certain deductions based on the size of the room used for business. Legalities of running a business from your home or apartment According to the IRS, deducting expenses for home offices is typically based on the percentage of space used regularly and exclusively for business purposes. It can be difficult to know when you've reached this point; a good rule of thumb is that if your workspace is located in your house or apartment and you're doing similar activities there as compared with other rooms in the house, then you could be getting into an area that isn't deductible. A good way to deal with this is by having a separate workspace or home office. If you work in a room separate from where your family lives, then it will be easier for you to meet the requirements of deducting expenses. You also need to have adequate business insurance.
